Exorcism: how it works

In the face of an increase in paranormal phenomena in our society, there is a pressing need to find a solution to them. In the quest for deliverance, the lay faithful either rush to "exorcist priests" (as they like to emphatically call them), or to marabouts (soothsayers), or to all two at the same time!

Bishop Watio of Nkongsamba urges Priests and Christians to make prayer their armour against the Evil One

The Bishop of Nkongsamba, Mgr. Dieudonné Watio, recently addressed a letter to priests, religious men and women and Christ's lay faithful of his diocese, and of the entire Ecclesiastical Province of Douala, explaining in simple, clear terms who an exorcist really is, that is, a priest appointed by his bishop for this particular ministry. He is especially categorical in his assertion that priests should help the lay faithful to see Christ, and not the Devil, everywhere.
