The Bishop of Nkongsamba, Mgr. Dieudonné Watio, recently addressed a letter to priests, religious men and women and Christ's lay faithful of his diocese, and of the entire Ecclesiastical Province of Douala, explaining in simple, clear terms who an exorcist really is, that is, a priest appointed by his bishop for this particular ministry. He is especially categorical in his assertion that priests should help the lay faithful to see Christ, and not the Devil, everywhere.
