Shortly after President Paul Biya came to power, he told Cameroonians that Cameroon was doing well. This took the nation aback because it was the first time a Cameroonian Head of State was actually telling the people about the welfare of the nation. Ahidjo announced projects when they were already half-way done. Paul Biya promises projects and never starts them.
