The Bishop of Mamfe Diocese, His lordship Francis Teke Lysinge, blessed and officially opened the Mamfe BEPHA head office on July 30, 2009. The Mamfe Health District Committee General Meeting preceded the inauguration. During the meeting, the manager of BEPHA-Mamfe Diocese, Samson Taboro Menge urged committee members to work hard to make BEPHA known in their various communities.
The South West Special Fund for Health-SWSFH, and Mamfe Diocese, jointly sponsored the BEPHA head office project, donating FCFA 455,350 and 137,700 respectively. As BEPHA continues to take new strides in the health domain, many are already feeling its impact in the Bamenda Ecclesiastical Province.
A beneficiary has acknowledged BEPHA recently paid 75 percent of a relation’s medical bill. She explained although her brother’s wife is a Presbyterian, she was well attended to. Mary Assumpta explained that she was overwhelmed with the support she had from BEPHA when her daughter was operated upon. She said BEPHA paid FCFA 66.475 of a hospital bill of FCFA 98.000. She therefore paid only FCFA 22.160 to make up for the sum. Her daughter, she said, was treated before the bill was paid.
The number of sick people being treated in accredited hospitals has increased, whereas very few people could afford going to the hospital before as they lacked money.

May the peace and love of Jesus Christ and His Blessed Mother MARY be with you today and for all Eternity.Amen.
