It is very common to find people who are supposed to be peacefully retired, still carrying out denigrating and back-breaking jobs. As a result, many who are soon to retire are afraid of going on retirement. While the fault may not be exclusively the struggling retiree’s, other factors make the retirement experience scary for many in Cameroon. To help potential retirees prepare or go on a graceful retirement, we share a tested and confirmed experience and those of some retired Catholic workers.
