After its recognition and approval by the Holy See, the World Apostolate of Fatima, WAF, which is an international association of the faithful formerly known as Blue Army , is now poised to embrace a new mission with new found verve.It is against this backdrop that the International President of the
Apostolate, Prof Americo Pablo Ortiz, called on WAF members during
their twin congress, which ran from April 3 to 5, to live up to the
ideals of the new apostolate.The All Saints Parish, Mutengene, hosted the African Regional and
National summits that drew delegates from some African nations and nine
dioceses in Cameroon, where WAF is present.

The 7th International Forum on the regulation of telecommunications in Africa ended in Yaounde on June 8 with participants agreeing to exchange experiences more often with the International Telecommunications Union, ITU. Opening the forum, the Cameroon Minister of State for Telecommunications, Bello Bouba Maïgari, emphasized on the need of harmonizing services in all regions of the world, with the frame work of adapting to the evolution of technologies.

The houses themselves, with the broken and leaky plumbing, look like misery redefined and upgraded by the devil. There are cracked gas pipes, peeling wall paint, and no provision for heating. The damp is quite visible in these apartment buildings in Paris. Abandoned, expired and crumbling, but nevertheless occupied by those who were born to be miserable - Africans.
