The Catholic University of Cameroon, CATUC, Bamenda was the first higher institute west of the Mongo to send off the first holders of the Masters in Business Administration, MBA, on Friday December 5, 2014 during its Second Convocation.
The Catholic Religious Studies Examination, CRSE, results for 2014 were released on Thursday, July 24, 2014, following a meeting of CRSE Board members at the Bamenda Catholic Education Secretariat. The meeting legislated, endorsed and published religious certificate examination results at the secondary school level in both the junior level (Form III) and the senior level (Lower VI) for students in Catholic schools in the Bamenda Ecclesiastical Province and some colleges in Douala Archdiocese.
Catholic Education Secretaries and principals of Catholic colleges in Bamenda Ecclesiastical Province held their annual meeting in Mamfe from January 14 to 16, 2012. During the meeting the Catholic Education Secretaries examined deficit which is one of the factors crippling education in the four dioceses that make up the ecclesiastical province.

A project to construct new classroom blocks in 18 primary schools in the North West Region has been launched. Cameroon's Minister for Basic Education, Yussuf Adidja Alim, and the Japanese Ambassador to Cameroon, His Excellency Tsutomu Arai, laid the foundation stone of the Japan- sponsored project on December 21 in Government School, G.S, and Government Bilingual School, G. B. S, Ngomgham, Mezam Division.

The Golden Jubilee celebration of Our Lady of Lourdes College, Mankon, will begin on Thursday, January 3, 2013. The four-day programme shall start with a Holy Mass in which the Archbishop of Bamenda, His Grace Cornelius Fontem Esua, shall be the chief celebrant.
The staff, ex-students and students of Regina Pacis College, REPACOL, Mutengene, converged on November 17, 2012, and celebrated the college’s 15th anniversary. They also launched a book, REPACOL From Grass To Grace, which a pioneer student, now the college’s ex-student association president, John Enongene, has written.
