St. Albert's Comprehensive College Bafut holds 7th PTA meeting

Parents of students of St. Albert's Comprehensive College, SACC, Bafut have resolved to reward hardworking staff and students from 2012/2013 Academic Year. The incentive has been increased to FCFA 1, 000,000 and 500,000 for teachers and students respectively.

Strengthening Environmental and Conservation Education in primary and secondary schools in Cameroon

Making teaching aids like paper and chalk stumps out of waste materials and embedding the environmental impact of uranium exploitation in Cameroon into various subject courses were some lessons a group of more than 60 teachers, managers and pedagogic inspectors of  public and private education in the North West Region took away from a workshop on Strengthening Environmental and Conservation Education in Schools.

We must incorporate into our public school system a larger recognition of the practical and industrial elements in educational training. Ours is an agricultural population. The school must be brought more closely to the soil.

Catholic School PTA wants government to pay teachers

Parents and teachers in Bamenda Ecclesiastical Province have resolved to give Catholic schools a facelift in 2012. This decision was arrived at the end of Bamenda Ecclesiastical Provincial Parents-Teachers’ Association, BEPPTA, annual meeting which held in Bamenda on Friday, November 11, 2011.
