I will like to train younger people to have sovereign minds. That is, people capable of taking informed decisions. Cameroon appears to be under a spell which manipulates people who take orders from those in authority without questioning, or modifying them. Most Cameroonians in decision making positions are fickle-minded or not principled. The foundation of Cameroon is built on falsehood because its citizens are not informed about the powers they have. I really will like to invest in leadership building.

Congregation of the Handmaids of the Holy Child Jesus blessed with a new member

Rev. Sr. Marion Manyo Mbeng Arrey of the Congregation of the Handmaids of the Holy Child Jesus took her final religious profession on December 3, 2011, at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral in Mamfe during a Eucharistic celebration with His lordship Monsignor Francis Teke Lysinge as the main celebrant.

First Canon Law Association founded in Cameroon

The first Canon Law Association in Cameroon, with headquarters at the Catholic University of Central Africa, UCAC, Yaoundé, was created on December 1, 2011.It resulted from a colloquium that brought together all 22 Canon Lawyers in Cameroon.

Franciscan way of life seen to be relevant in Cameroon

The celebration of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi in Shisong Parish, like in all other parts of the world, brought together all who follow Christ according to the model of St. Francis of Assisi. Franciscans in Kumbo Diocese received the grace to recognise their common roots more than 10 years ago through the introduction of an ongoing formation course—Comprehensive Course on the Franciscan Mission Charism (CCFMC), through the mediation of Sr. Alphonsa Kiven, TSSF.

New Version of Missal in English to be used soon

Legion of Mary celebrates 90th anniversary in Douala Archdiocese

Legion of Mary members in Douala Archdiocese have celebrated their 90th anniversary with a call for them to seek the Holy Virgin Mary’s  intercession in every aspect of their spiritual lives. Douala Archbishop His Grace Samuel Kléda made the call during a Pontifical Mass at St. Simon’s Parish, Kondi PK 8; a Mass which brought an end to activities that marked the 90th anniversary of the Legion of Mary in Douala Archdiocese.
